Claudio Jung sings ‘Someone Cares’ (Gowans/Larsson) at International Headquarters
Recently, renowned baritone singer Claudio Jung visited The Salvation Army's International Headquarters in London. Alongside a career as a classical performer, Jung represents our organisation in Korea.
During his time in this role, he has discovered the music of Generals John Gowans and John Larsson (both former international leaders) and has been deeply moved by the words and tunes. On this latest visit to the UK, he was able to meet his 'hero' General Larsson and spend time in conversation with him.
Jung was also able to present the Gowans/Larsson song ‘Someone Cares‘ to an audience made up of staff and members of the public – as well as General Larsson himself.
It is wonderful to see Salvation Army music reaching new audiences all the time, and we pray that it will continue to bless those who hear it
