CLAUDIO JUNG, PhD, is a professional singer and creative artist from SouthKorea. He is well knownin his home country,where he has performed in more than 60 cities.Professor Jung’s international
career includes concertsin Italy, France, Germany, the UK, Japan, China, The Philippines and the USA, and he has won prizes in
He graduated from the Gaertano Donizetti Institute of Music in
Bergamo, Italy, with diplomasin Opera Artist,Director, Conductor and Musical. He also holds a BS in Vocal Music and a PhD in Arts
Management, from Kyung Hee University (Seoul, South Korea), writing his thesis on ‘The Fusionof Performing Arts and its Impact
on Cultural Code’. He is currently Professor at Kookmin University,
College of Arts(Seoul), and Directorof OPERAMA ArtsAdministration Research Institute, also based in Seoul.
Professor Jung volunteers as an honorary ambassador for The
Salvation Army in South Korea.
Combining music with visual arts,Claudio’s concertsseek to build abridge from his repertoire of opera and classical musicto modern songs. He has
released numerous albums and also produces music videos.
